Procedure: Treat thin veins that lie close to the surface of the skin of the thighs and legs.
Length: 15 minutes.
Anesthesia: None needed.
In/Outpatient: Outpatient.
Side Effects: Temporary bruising, swelling, soreness.
Risks: Blood clots in the veins, severe inflammation, allergic reactions, pigmentation irregularity, scars.
Recovery: Back to work: Usually next day; bruising for about two weeks.
