Procedure: Improve the appearance of unsightly scars.
Length: One-half to one hour.
Anesthesia: Usually local.
In/Outpatient: Usually outpatient.
Side Effects: Temporary bruising, swelling, numbness, soreness.
Risks: Infection, recurrence of unsightly scarring.
Recovery: Back to work: 1-3 days.
